Plus None is an experiment operated by Plus None LLC (“Plus None,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By submitting a photo or any other content to Plus None, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t submit.

1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to submit. By submitting, you represent that you are at least 18.
2. What Submitting Means
You choose what happens to your submission via the checkboxes on the submission form:
- Live event display: Your photo may be shown to other singles at the Plus None partner location where you submitted, on a private webpage that auto-clears from public view after 6 hours.
- Instagram / TikTok posting (optional): If you opt in, your photo may be posted to @plusnonedating, and/or @thevenueceo on Instagram and TikTok at our discretion. We may post, may not post, may edit, may remix, may caption.
If you don’t check the boxes, those things don’t happen.
3. License You Grant Us
For each consent you give, you grant Plus None LLC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, edit, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, perform, display, and create derivative works from your submitted content, including your name, likeness, voice, and any other identifying features, in connection with:
- The Plus None experiment
- Plus None’s marketing, advertising, and editorial materials
- Any other use Plus None reasonably deems appropriate
You waive any “moral rights” or similar rights in your submission to the extent allowed by law.
4. No Compensation
You are not entitled to any payment, royalty, or other compensation for your submission, now or ever.
5. Your Promises
By submitting, you represent and warrant that:
- You are 18 or older
- The content you submit is yours, or you have all rights necessary to grant the license in Section 3
- Your content doesn’t violate anyone else’s rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, etc.)
- You aren’t using your submission to harass, defame, threaten, or harm anyone
- Your content doesn’t contain anything illegal, obscene, or deceptive
6. Location Data
We ask for your device location only at the moment you submit, only to confirm you are physically at a Plus None partner location. We don’t track your location after that. We don’t sell or share your location data.
7. Device Identifier
When you first visit plusnone.fetewell.com, we generate a random identifier (a “device ID”) and store it locally in your browser. This ID is not tied to your name, email, or any other personal information by itself. We use it to recognize repeat visits from the same browser and to produce anonymized, aggregate analytics for participating venues (for example, “X% of singles who scanned at this venue came back within 90 days”).
What the device ID is not: it is not shared with venues at the individual level — only as part of aggregated totals. It is not used for advertising. It is not a third-party tracker — it lives only on your browser and in our systems. It does not sync across devices or browsers. Clearing your browser storage for plusnone.fetewell.com resets it.
The device ID persists in your browser until you clear your local storage for plusnone.fetewell.com.
8. Data Retention
Submissions may be retained indefinitely for archival, editorial, and promotional purposes. The 6-hour rule applies only to public visibility on the live event page — not to our internal records.
9. We Can Refuse or Remove Anything
Plus None reserves the right to refuse, remove, edit, or decline to publish any submission, at any time, for any reason, without notice.
10. Take-Down
Email [email protected] with subject “Plus None take-down request.” We’ll remove your submission from the live event page within 24 hours and from Instagram/TikTok within 7 days. Content already published before your request (podcast episodes, social posts, marketing materials, etc.) stays as-is.
11. No Scraping / No Reuse
You may not download, scrape, copy, screenshot, or redistribute any other person’s submission. Doing so is a breach of these Terms and may also be illegal.
12. Plus None Is Not a Matchmaker
You acknowledge that Plus None is an experiment that facilitates voluntary connections between adults who choose to interact in person. Plus None LLC is not responsible for any interactions, conduct, behavior, communications, or outcomes between users, whether at a Plus None partner location, online, or anywhere else. We don’t background-check users, vet their intentions, verify their identities beyond submission requirements, screen for compatibility, or guarantee anyone’s safety, decency, or sanity. You meet other users at your own risk. If something goes wrong — emotionally, physically, financially, romantically, or otherwise — that is between you and the other person, not Plus None.
13. No Warranty
Plus None is provided “as-is.” We make no guarantees about the experiment, the matches, the love of your life, or anything else.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plus None LLC, its affiliates, owners, employees, agents, and partners from any claim, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including attorney’s fees) arising out of your submission, your breach of these Terms, your interactions with other users, or your violation of anyone else’s rights.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plus None LLC’s total liability to you under these Terms is limited to fifty US dollars ($50.00), regardless of the claim.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
